IRC-Monitor crawls networks listed in its database each hour. IRC crawler bots are based on PHP technology.

Why

Users channels listing uses up a substantial amount of IRC server resources. IRC-Monitor has been created to ease them. Moreover, IRC-Monitor provides other relevant content such as activity graphs that are not directly available with a simple IRC client.
